‘Canada Cares’; ‘Return and Rebuild’: Providing policy recommendations and consultations to the Canadian government to address how refugee and IDP populations can return to their homelands without fear of danger or risk.
GENDER EQUALITY
The GATE Project: Empowering women leaders from emerging democracies to participate meaningfully in peace and security processes in their communities and homelands.
Will help address oppression of women and girls through addressing systemic issues such as unjust social norms and attitudes, and by developing progressive legal frameworks that promote equality between women and men.
The Lost Boys of the 21st Century: Addressing and eliminating gender bias to ensure that all victims of gender-based violence, including young males, receive the treatment they require. Promotes gender inclusiveness.
Gateway Care: Helping provide and enhance neo-natal care and other medical services for female populations in austere locations.
HEALTHCARE
Project Bawash: Providing advisory, analysis, and influence to increase medical aid and medical surge capacity in conflict, near-conflict and crisis zones.
Gateway Care: Helping improve access to essential healthcare and medical services for vulnerable, under-served or neglected populations in remote and austere locations.
Helping reduce premature deaths or suffering from preventable diseases in neglected and vulnerable populations.
